Charles Carraway

For me, painting is a means of suspending time, an abstraction of light and space. I am interested in how light and space can be manipulated to create a unique sense of what is real and abstract at the same time. To paraphrase a comment once made by Giorgio Morandi, who perhaps said it best, "Nothing is more abstract than reality…"
